Small Diameter Gate

In this design, the gate into the interface
frame is a small diameter tube feeding directly into the large diameter center cylinder.
The small diameter gate will slow down the
metal flow and prevent rapid filling of the mold.
In addition, the sharp transition from the
small diameter gate to the large diameter bore will produce significant turbulence and
splashing.
