T&O Tooling (Western Division) Meeting

The SFSA Western Division T&O meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16th and Friday, April 17th in Salt Lake City, UT. The meeting will feature presentations on tooling and innovative uses of Additive Manufacturing. There is no cost for the meeting - travel, hotel, meals, etc. are the attendees’ responsibility. Afternoon meeting at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Airport - East

  • Chris Rudert (May Foundry) - integrating solidification analysis with low cost Additive Manufacturing to make a casting.
  • Frank Peters (Iowa State University) - utilizing 3D technology for Reverse Engineering and creating digital surface reference standards.
  • Gary Burrow (HA Burrow Pattern Works) - innovative uses of Additive Manufacturing for fixtures and cost-effective, production cores.

Evening dutch treat dinner with the group - meet for in the hotel lobby (restaurant TBD)
