Southern Division / Future Leaders Meeting

The Future Leaders meeting will be held in Tulsa, OK on Wednesday 10/7 to Friday 10/9 and will feature a tour of American Foundry Group (AFG) Friday morning as part of the divisional meeting, which is on Thursday afternoon (topics will be on operating steel foundries and will include Raymond doing a mini seminar on induction melting).

The activities specific to Future Leaders will start on Wednesday afternoon and run through Thursday morning. This will include our networking and knowledge sharing roundtable along with a Subject Matter Expert presentations by Paul Rudd and AFG. There is no cost for the meeting - travel, hotel, meals, etc. are the attendees’ responsibility. Please bring your own safety shoes for the tour. Final details for the meeting will be sent to all registered attendees.

The SFSA Operating (Southern Division) T&O meeting that will be held on Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9th near Tulsa, OK. This meeting will be held in conjunction with a Future Leaders meeting that will begin prior to this. The meeting will focus on topics related to operating steel foundries.   • Paul Rudd (SFSA honorary member) - hydrogen assisted cracking
  • Shawn Hamell (FARO) - basics of scanning technology and tolerance capability for steel castings
