Newport Beach Bike Tour

  • Our two hour ride (very moderate ride, no uphill pedaling) begins on the beach strand in Huntington and heads south to Newport. Along the way we'll see the stunning California coastline filled with surfers and volleyball players. Then, we'll ride through some luxurious Newport neighborhoods and along the beach to Balboa Pier. We'll visit the iconic Dory Fish Market, stop for a famous Balboa bar (chocolate covered ice cream). We’ll round up the trip making our way through iconic Lido Village, a beautiful redevelopment of hip stores and restaurants before riding back to Huntington.
Provided - bikes, helmets, bottled water and energy bars.
Attire - comfortable athletic clothing plus closed toed athletic shoes suitable for pedaling.

Outrigger Canoe Race

  • Experience Newport harbor “Hawaii 5-0” style, in an outrigger canoe. You’ll go faster, travel further, and relax more as your group will paddle together under the direction of an expert steersman. Once everyone has had time to practice and perfect their team’s cadence, we’ll start our competition rounds! Our coaches will guide you and your crew through the 2019 SFSA Outrigger Race, may the best team win!
Provided - bottled water and prizes.
Attire - clothing appropriate to get wet plus water shoes/sandals/old sneakers as your feet might get wet.

SFSA Beach Olympics

  • Olympic Games is a fun and interactive team building experience that will challenge our group, developing camaraderie and relationships through friendly, lighthearted and hilarious competition, in the spirit of the Olympic Games tradition. Everyone of all ages and athletic abilities are welcome and will be included as valuable team members. Every team plays every game - no standing around and just watching. We will have seven to eight games such as: Giant Scrabble, Rubber Chicken Slingshots, Marble Madness, Plug the Hole and Melt Down. Not sure what these games are? Sign up and join in the fun!
Provided - team bandannas, bottled water, and prizes.
Attire - comfortable athletic beach clothing and footwear good for the sandy beach.
