This is a fairly good manual compared to others from JET during this time-frame. It contains information about the different mills specifications, proper operating instructions, lubricating instructions, adjustments, and maintenance. There are even instructions for removing the spindle/quill and cone clutch replacement. The manual has exploded view diagrams of all the parts with parts list and descriptions. The quality of them wasn’t the best. So I spent considerable amount of time redrawing many of the parts. This manual also has a wiring diagram for these milling machines, which also needed some work so you could read it all. Overall, I would highly recommend this manual if you have the JUM1 or HVM2 milling machines. I guarantee you will not find a better version of this manual anywhere.
