SHELDON The Care and Operation of a Metal Lathe Operator’s Manual Book 0830

August 5, 2026 //  Leave a Comment

Manual Description:Number of Pages: 107 enlarged and printed 8.5″ x 11″ This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Sheldon The Care and Operation of a Lathe Operator’s Manual. This book covers the older style Sheldon lathes like the one pictured below. This manual does not cover the newer style gear boxes. This book contains information on operation and maintenance. It also covers a lot on how to set up the lathe for cuts and how to do thread cutting. It also has a threading chart for the gear box. Overview I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly. I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find. My manuals are not photocopies. I maintain a high standard of quality in my reproductions. Most of the manuals I reproduce look better than their originals. I have professionally digitally edited every page, and removed stains, wrinkles and handwriting. All of the manuals are printed on thick white paper to withstand shop wear and tear; they are then comb bound with heavy cover pages so they lie flat on the workbench. Visit our eBay Store! We have over 1,100 manuals available. From our shop to yours. We get this. But you get this! Why settle for anything less?We can’t make pictures a lot better than the original, but we can fix everything else. Shipping: We ship every M-T-W-T-F except US holidays. All of our manuals are shipped with Delivery Confirmation. We stamp “Do Not Bend” on them to ensure that your manual arrives quickly in good condition. Any package that weighs more than 15.9 oz cannot be shipped First Class, and will be shipped Media Mail. Priority and Express mail options are available to purchase. Since we offer free shipping, we cannot reship manuals for free, due to inaccurate or insufficient addresses. Reshipping Fees for inaccurate or insufficient addresses: $5.00 for the first manual and $2.50 for each additional manual. Service: We have been providing this service to fellow craftsman and machinist for over 20 years. We treat everyone as we would like to be treated. We try to take care of all our customers. We do more than sell manuals, we have a complete woodworking and machine shop. We operate all kinds of machinery everyday.
