The
snubber arm is a heavy steel bar with a reinforced rectangular cross section
and an offset on one end.
The
offset end of the bar has a split fork with bearings to attach to the door linkage
arm.
The
other end of the arm has a heavy section hub with a keyed center bore
for attachment to the damper shaft.
The
snubber arm has a weight of about 200 pounds and a length of about 3 feet.
