hydraulic pressure for system operations, using water as the
working fluid.
- Hydraulic accumulators are used to
contain and store the working fluid at full working
pressures.
- The accumulators are cylindrical
in shape with an enclosed movable piston which serves as the
pressure transfer mechanism.
